Cap/Closure Sterilizing System Claranor Series
Product Overview
Ensure that your closures are decontaminated and disinfected before you put them on your product with our Claranor Pulsed Light Sterilization System. The system is ideal for all Extended Shelf Life (ESL) products as well as food, beverage, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical and cosmetic packaging applications.
It works by exposing the surface of your caps and closures to intense pulsed light that eliminates microbes (bacteria, yeast, mold, spores and other germs) and achieves a significant log reduction - generally a 3 to 5 log reduction depending on the application. The decontamination levels for your particular application will depend on several parameters. We will work with you to optimize the balance between efficiency and cost savings considering factors such as voltage, lamp life, power consumption and operating cost of the treatment. Fowler Products is your partner every step of the way.

Benefits:
- Clean - no chemical disinfectants means zero residue (compare to hydrogen peroxide or other chemical sterilization systems).
- Compact - our small footprint machine integrates directly into the cap chute of your bottle capping system. it can be readily retrofitted to existing capping machines.
- Simple - quick to install, easy to use in production and low maintenance mean a worry-free system for your line.
- Fast - the Claranor system will not bottleneck your line and can keep pace with the demanding needs of your capping operation, no matter the speed.
- Efficient - your cap is mapped digitally to determine your optimal disinfection strategy, so you know you're getting the most efficient use of the technology.
- Customizable - depending on the level of decontamination you need for your closures we can treat just the inner surface or we can treat the entire closure (inner and outer surface).
- Traceable - each decontaminated product/item can be fully documented.
- Sustainable - the pulsed light system doesn't use water or chemicals for sterilization, creating a much more sustainable alternative over traditional chemical sterilization methods.
